About Me
I’m a Melbourne based illustrator and character artist who works mainly in ink, watercolour and digital mediums. My focus is on storytelling and characters. Taking inspiration from fantasy, folktales, and history I create illustrations for children’s books, book covers, comics, editorials as well as character design and storyboards for animation. My illustrations range from finely detailed to simple and cartoony. I have exhibited in group shows in Melbourne, and have had a solo show in Geelong, I have illustrated the Children’s book ‘Tales from the Wild Wood’ by Christopher Jackson-Ash and the book cover for the anthology ‘Writings from the People’s Republic of Moorabool’. I have done editorial work for the online magazine Anne Summers Reports. I have a Diploma of Illustration from Melbourne Polytechnic. I am currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Animation at Swinburne University of Technology. I have completed all my core units and my graduate film entitled ‘Fashion Feud’ for which I was the lead character designer. |
